Sean Taylor came to New York for the comedy and stayed for the pizza. He is a storyteller, host, and co-owner of the Magnet Theater, alongside his longtime improv mentor, Armando Diaz. After moving to NYC more than 25 years ago to pursue comedy, Sean immersed himself in the improv community, training at Magnet Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade with artists including Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, Matt Besser, Jason Mantzoukas, and Adam Wade.

In 2002, Sean created 31DaysofPizza.com as a personal challenge to honor National Pizza Month. Each October, he embarks on an ongoing “quest for the perfect slice,” visiting a different pizzeria every day and eating at least one slice with at least one guest. This year, he’s bringing his appetite for storytelling to the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the international premiere of his show, “Life of Pie.”
